Tudor Farmhouse Hotel - Clearwell

In beautiful tranquil natural surroundings, this charming 13th century stone-built hotel offers comfortable, attractive accommodation with modern facilities seamlessly integrated alongside beautiful original features.

The Tudor Farmhouse Hotel is situated in the historic village of Clearwell, on the fringe of the Forest of Dean and the Wye Valley. Deep in the heart of the natural beauty of the countryside, the hotel is surrounded by immaculately kept landscaped gardens and 14 acres of fields.

The building’s stunning original features include massive oak beams, original panelling, an oak spiral staircase and a large, rough stone inglenook fireplace in the attractive lounge. The 20 en suite rooms have been refurbished in a traditional style without compromising the structure’s beautiful historic charm. Each room offers sensitively incorporated contemporary comforts and facilities, including teacoffee making facilities, hairdryers, flat-screen TVs with satellite channels and wireless internet access.

The hotel day starts from hour 15:00 and ends at 11:00.

Dogs can only be accommodated in Double or Twin Room with Garden View.

Standard Double Room. These rooms are located on the top floor of the main building or the ground and first floor of the barn. This room does not accommodate dogs. ;
Superior Double Room. These refurbished rooms are located on either the first floor of the main building or the ground floor of the barn.have either a walk-in shower or bath with overhead shower. This room does not accommodate dogs. ;
Double or Twin Room with Garden View. This room is located on the ground floor of the Barn and features an en suite bathroom, a TV, and teacoffee making facilities. The bed can be a twin or super king double. This room is dog friendly and we accept one dog per room at a surcharge of £10 per night. ;
Superior Suite. These spacious suites have a roll-top bath, a walk-in monsoon shower and a sitting area. Please note that one of the suites is up two flights of oak spiral staircase. This room does not accommodate dogs. ;
Deluxe Double Room. These rooms feature an en suite bathroom and a monsoon shower. Some have a four poster bed and roll top bath. This room does not accommodate dogs.
